Today I was going to get up early and get stuff done.

Yeah, that didn't happen.

Uneventful, but whatever.

I don't know why I've delayed this so long!

SO THE DOCTOR WHO SEASON FINALE HAPPENED.

Everyone thought it was going to be awful. BUT IT WAS AWESOME.

I was pleasantly surprised.

MORE THAN PLEASANTLY.

Why Friendship is Freaking Magic

Guys, we have something serious to talk about.

Something I feel very strongly about.

Now let me tell you a story.

But this

had never occurred to me. I had heard of bronies, but I thought they were like those annoying kids in high school who wore Dora the Explorer backpacks. I thought they liked it for ironic reasons.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing from my friend. I'd known him for about a year and I never would have guessed.

We finally came to an agreement. I would try My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic if he tried Doctor Who.  This turned out to be the most beneficial agreement I've ever made.

So, here we go, friends.

All the right pieces are in play. Good animation, good voice acting, good writing.

These aren't your average tea-party ponies. The characters have character!

So after the doctor decided I didn't need surgery, I went to go pick up my PT order. It was the kind where I just do it myself at home and stuff.

 

What I should have done was look at it before I left.

 

I still have no idea what it said. I just looked up physical therapy exercises for my injury on the internet.

Star Trek

I have to be honest. While I always knew that I could easily be a Star Trek fan, I never actually got into it.

Well, friends, that is changing. I just watched Wrath of Khan in preparation for Into Darkness.
(I capitalize "Into" because I think it looks better.)

There were things I forgot about.

I even knew it was coming and wasn't prepared.

 

Just like when I watch Pokemon. I cry every time Ash turns to stone. Every. Time.

Anyway, I'm excited that Khan is going from this:

No, not really.

If all you hardcore Trekkies are face-palming, I'll have you know that I laugh in the most recent Star Trek when Sulu says "fencing". Take your face-palms back >:D
